Amarit Fund

“ Amarit Funding for VMES “

The Amarit Funding was established in honor of Dr. Amarit Bhumiratana, former Dean of the Vincent Mary School of Engineering (2016–2019), whose leadership was marked by dedication, integrity, and a selfless commitment to the School’s advancement. Throughout his tenure and beyond, Dr. Amarit has continuously devoted his heart, time, and personal resources to strengthening the academic foundation and future of Vincent Mary School of Engineering, Science and Technology. This funding reflects his enduring belief in education as a force for positive and sustainable transformation.

The Amarit Funding is purposefully directed toward three core objectives that support the holistic growth of VMES. First, it provides VMES Student Scholarships to encourage and enable students to pursue further studies at the graduate level within VMES. Second, it supports VMES Training initiatives, enhancing skills, competencies, and lifelong learning opportunities for students and personnel. Third, it promotes VMES Research and Startup development, fostering innovation, research excellence, and entrepreneurial impact that connect academic knowledge with real-world applications.

At the heart of this funding lies Dr. Amarit’s sincere intention that its benefits extend beyond individuals and moments in time. He envisions the Amarit Funding as a lasting source of opportunity—one that continues to uplift, inspire, and empower the AU VMES community from one generation to the next, nurturing future leaders, researchers, and innovators. With heartfelt appreciation, VMES expresses its deepest gratitude for this noble and visionary contribution. The School is firmly committed to upholding and advancing the aspirations embodied in the Amarit Funding. VMES will wholeheartedly carry forward this mission with responsibility, integrity, and dedication, ensuring that its impact endures for generations to come.
