The Vincent Mary School of Engineering, Science, and Technology (VMES) proudly congratulates Mr. Sirin Kitcharoen, a recent graduate of Aeronautics Engineering under the Commercial Pilot License (CPL) program, on his extraordinary accomplishments.
A Journey of Dedication and Excellence
With a perfect 4.00 GPA, Mr. Sirin exemplifies the essence of perseverance and academic brilliance. His achievements were recently crowned with the Royal Engineering Award, presented on behalf of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua (Rama X) during a prestigious ceremony at The Siam Society under Royal Patronage on December 24, 2024.
Reflecting on his success, Sirin shared, “It’s beyond expectation. To receive this award is an honor not just for me, but for my family as well. It motivates me to keep working hard and aiming higher.”
A Dream of Flight
Sirin’s passion for aviation began as a child, inspired by the marvel of flight. His journey led him to the Bangkok Air Aviation Training Center, where he honed the skills necessary for a career as a commercial pilot. Sirin aspires to join world-renowned airlines such as Emirates, Etihad, or Qatar Airways, where he hopes to contribute to the excellence of global aviation.
Shaping the Future
Beyond personal goals, Sirin envisions a bright future for Thailand’s aviation sector. He believes that post-COVID recovery will position aviation as a key driver of tourism and economic growth, and with proper investment, Thailand could emerge as a global aviation hub.
The AU Impact
Sirin attributes much of his success to the guidance and mentorship he received at Assumption University. He expressed deep gratitude to Asst. Prof. Dr. Narong Aphiratsakun, Dean of VMES, stating, “His guidance shaped me into who I am today.”
